Office Admin/Account Receivable Specialist
Summary of Responsibilities
The Office Admin/Account Receivable Specialist will work in the Integrated Logistics Factoring Department by receiving invoices from clients, verifying authenticity and processing for payment. In addition, this position will deal with incoming customer calls and be able to call customers on past due invoices. All job duties must be performed in a way that promotes safe practices in accordance with the company’s established safety programs.
Essential Duties
The Office Admin/Account Receivable Specialist plays a role in the ongoing Finance functions of the Company. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs. The essential duties and responsibilities of the position include:
- Work with clients to verify invoices received and process for timely payment
- Monitoring aged receivables and following up with customers once receivables are over 30 days past due
- Researches short pay and over pay issues, and makes necessary adjustments when needed
- Provide excellent customer support to clients

- Efficient in computer processing
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, well-developed verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work with internal and external customers

- The ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities, meet assigned deadlines, and manage the related stress
Education, Experience, and Other Requirements
Based on the technical and professional responsibilities of the position, the Office Admin/Account Receivable Specialist is required to have:
- An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study
- 2 years of experience
- Will consider an entry level person if the person has the right skill set
Physical and Environmental
The Office Admin/Account Receivable Specialist is primarily located in a climate controlled office environment, with low to moderate noise level, but may experience other physical environments while traveling. Physical requirements include:
- Using computer hardware and software for extended periods of time (repetitive motion)
- Sitting for long periods of time
